Well completion

A sequence of operations during well construction to prepare the well for production.

Correctly selected well completion technology is a cornerstone aspect predetermining both the fluid production volume and the overall project's economic efficiency.

TatProm-Holding Group has the most state-of-the-art facilities for the production of well completion equipment.

Our Solutions

Well screens of various designs and configurations

Purpose

Filtering out mechanical impurities such as sand, residual clay, and various solids in the process of well fluid production. Preventing bottom-hole damage, enabling control over sand and other solids in oil and gas producers, and reducing the wear of pumping and compressor equipment, upper completion.

Pipe products

Purpose

Transporting fluids to the wellhead.

Downhole hardware

Purpose

Downhole hardware is designed to guide the casing string along the borehole, protect it against damage during RIH and ensure that the string reaches the design depth, while preventing the casing string from being filled with drilling mud as it is run in hole and preventing the backflow of cement slurry, and much more.

Centralizers

Purpose

Centralizers are designed to safely run in hole casings and centralize them relative to the borehole walls in order to achieve an equal-thickness cement job.

Annular hydromechanic-set packers

Purpose

Annular packers are designed to isolate and compartmentalize productive oil and gas reservoirs, preventing annular cross-flows in the course of operation of oil and gas producers. In some cases, they are used to tightly isolate fluids in the annular space, carry cement slurry, and facilitate a high-quality cement job.

Swellable packers and elastomers

Purpose

Isolating borehole intervals in the casing or in the open hole to prevent the possibility of annular cross-flows of reservoir fluids and conduct other jobs in the course of well casing and operation.

Multi-stage hydraulic fracturing (MSF) equipment

Purpose

During multi-stage hydraulic fracturing, the frac sleeve is activated by the pressure in the tubing space either after dropping the ball and its landing in the respective frac sleeve, or by launching a special plug (dart) or running in a service tool (selective packer).

Intelligent well completion

Purpose

A variety of technologies aimed at enhancing a well's cumulative oil production; inflow control systems; mechanical or hydraulic reservoir isolation systems.

Service equipment for conducting jobs in a cased horizontal borehole

Purpose

Equipment designed to carry out jobs with the downhole equipment installed earlier and used to restrict unwanted fluid, perform bottom-hole zone treatments or selective reservoir treatments, or carry out refracs.

Soluble systems

Purpose

The use of completion accessories and hardware with soluble elements, along with careful planning of flow initiation jobs, help save time and resources required for reaming as well as minimize the probability of troubles.

Equipment for trouble-free RIH of casing strings and liners

Purpose

To avoid complications during RIH of casings, the license holder takes a set of measures depending on the complexity of the geological profile, the horizontal section length and the borehole integrity. The borehole integrity is assessed on the basis of complications observed as the drilling tool moves in the course of drilling and RIH/POOH operations. The measures aimed to help the casing reach the design depth include the use of reamer shoes, casing run-in systems with continuous drilling mud circulation, and rotating casings.
