A solution for closing frac sleeves without the catching baffle millout
A set of equipment and a series of operations for effective well completion with the possibility of refrac.
These jobs are performed with the use of standard frac sleeves and a custom-designed activation dart that, when run in hole on a coiled tubing and installed downhole, clings to the frac sleeve of a suitable size and closes it when moving upward, thus shutting off the borehole fluid.
Advantages:
- The possibility of refrac.
- No need for millout.
- No unmilled cuttings or equipment elements are left downhole.
