TatProm-Holding Group Took Part in the Tatarstan Oil Summit

ALMETYEVEVSK – The annual summit of Tatarstan's oil companies took place. The industry event brought together representatives from federal and regional authorities, senior management of oil companies, scientists and young specialists from Tatneft, and students from Russian leading oil&gas universities. The forum was attended by Alexander Novak, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Government, and Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The central theme of this year's summit was Tatneft's milestone anniversary – 75 years of technological leadership and the company's contribution to the development of Russia's fuel and energy sector.

The panel session discussion focused on the most relevant directions for the oil industry's development, including improving the efficiency of hard-to-recover reserves extraction, implementing advanced technologies in oil refining and petrochemical industries, integrating ESG principles, analyzing climate risks, and the prospects for cross-industry cooperation.

An exhibition was held as part of the summit. At the booth of TatProm-Holding Group, an integrated well completion solution was presented: a modular liner hanger that enables well completion both with or without cementing. Due to the modular design, the tool can be promptly adapted to customer requirements, and since no post-activation millout is required, well completion costs can be significantly reduced.

The exhibition also showcased the results of years of collaboration between TatProm-Holding Group, Tatneft, and the TatNIPIneft institute. Through this partnership, innovative well completion technologies have been implemented, such as casing rotation while cementing and joining casing strings using laser welding, instead of threaded connections. Since 2022, TatProm-Holding Group has developed and supplied over 240,000 pieces of equipment and tools and performed 2,200+ well operations at fields operated by Tatneft.
